About the Role
Tailorec is looking for a UI/UX Designer who will shape the entire product experience from the ground up. Your work will define the look, feel, and usability of everything our users see.
If you love designing clean, modern interfaces and turning complex flows into simple experiences, this role is ideal for you.
Note: We maintain a high bar for design craft and expect thoughtful, high-quality work across user flows, visual hierarchy, and component design.
Your Responsibilities
- Understand user needs and translate them into clean, intuitive flows
- Create wireframes, low fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity screens
- Build a consistent design system and reusable components
- Collaborate closely with the founder and engineers to iterate quickly
- Provide clear handoffs for implementation (Figma, documentation etc.)
- Suggest UX improvements that simplify the experience
- Ensure mobile-first and accessible design
- Maintain a modern, minimal, and elegant visual style
Must-Have Skills
- Strong Figma skills
- Ability to design clean, modern, minimal interfaces
- Experience structuring complex flows simply
- Strong understanding of UX patterns
- Ability to design dashboards and multi-section layouts
- Portfolio that demonstrates real designs or practical product work
Nice to Have
- Experience designing career, job search, or edtech products
- Ability to create illustrations or simple visual assets
- Understanding of component-based design systems
- Knowledge of responsive layouts
- Ability to think about UX data tracking (heatmaps, funnels etc)
